Time to Show Your Findings

Now that you have read "The Raven" and identified the literary devices used, let's think about how these devices have an effect on the poem. 

Choose three literary devices you identified in your reading and write an essay that discusses the combined effect that they have on the text.

Your essay should include an introduction with a thesis, body paragraphs explaining your literary devices and their effect, and a conclusion. Be sure to use quotes from the text in order to strengthen your argument.
